Gasoline extracts cheap plasticizers during use. When fuel evaporates in winter, the O-ring shrinks below its original dimension. Our High-ACN compounds prevent this “dry-out shrinkage” by using dense cross-linking instead of cheap fillers.
They are resistant to standard dosages. However, concentrated chemical soaks during bench cleaning will cause temporary swelling. Always replace O-rings after an aggressive chemical soak.
