Gasoline extracts cheap plasticizers during use. When fuel evaporates in winter, the O-ring shrinks below its original dimension. Our High-ACN compounds prevent this “dry-out shrinkage” by using dense cross-linking instead of cheap fillers.

They are resistant to standard dosages. However, concentrated chemical soaks during bench cleaning will cause temporary swelling. Always replace O-rings after an aggressive chemical soak.

Oxidized “sour gas” forms peroxides that attack the polymer backbone. Our compounds include advanced antioxidants, but for long-term sour gas storage, FKM is the safest upgrade.

HNBR is an elite choice for modern engine compartments with high under-hood heat (up to 150°C) and ozone exposure.

Never use silicone grease. It fouls Oxygen (O2) sensors. Use clean engine oil or a sensor-safe assembly lube.

70 Shore A is standard for gas caps and low-pressure lines. For GDI (High-Pressure Direct Injection), we recommend 90 Shore A to prevent extrusion.

No, O-rings are for static/reciprocating seals. For high-speed rotation, you need a rotary lip seal made from our High-ACN Nitrile.
